117 Dead Dogs Found at California Animal Sanctuary
At least 117 dead dogs were found at an animal rescue in California. The discovery happened on Friday during an ongoing investigation.
Many of the dogs had been killed by gunfire. Investigators also found 21 skulls, hundreds of bones and more than 600 dog collars.
The rescue is called Miranda's Rescue Animal Sanctuary. It is located in Fortuna, California.
The investigation involves claims of animal cruelty, fraud and theft. No charges have been filed yet.
