Abel Vows to Keep Buffett's Investing Style
Greg Abel published his first letter as chief executive of Berkshire Hathaway, a major United States investment company. Warren Buffett recently retired from the role.
Berkshire had $373.3 billion in cash at the end of 2025. This was down 2.1% from September.
Abel said the cash pile does not mean Berkshire is stepping back from buying companies. He promised to keep Buffett's style of careful investing.
Klear Note — Berkshire Hathaway is one of the world's largest investment companies. Warren Buffett led it for decades before retiring. Abel is now in charge.
