Actress Lucy Davis Says Her Cancer Is Incurable
British actress Lucy Davis says her cancer is incurable. She shared the news in an Instagram post.
Davis played receptionist Dawn Tinsley in Britain's version of The Office. She also starred in Shaun of the Dead.
Davis said the cancer has spread widely. She said it is now too late for chemo.
The cancer is Stage 4 breast cancer. It started in her breast and has spread to her bones.
This includes her spine, right hip and ribs. She was diagnosed about a year and a half ago. A BBC report gave more details about her condition.
Klear Note — Stage 4 breast cancer means the disease has spread beyond where it began. Incurable means treatment cannot currently remove the cancer completely.
