Air Canada Stops Cuba Flights Over Fuel Shortage
Air Canada cancelled all flights to Cuba recently. Cuba is running out of jet fuel because of a United States oil blockade.
Airlines from Russia, China, and Spain have also been affected by the fuel shortage. Air Canada will send empty planes to Cuba to pick up stranded passengers.
About 3,000 passengers are stuck in Cuba waiting to go home. The empty planes will bring them back to Canada.
