American Missionary Released After Nine Months in Niger Captivity
Kevin Rideout is an American missionary and pilot. He was kidnapped in Niger last fall.
Unknown attackers took him from or near his home. His home was in Niamey, Niger.
He was held captive for nine months. Now he has been released.
Rideout is currently in the care of US officials. His mission group SIM International said he is in good health. SIM International said he will soon reunite with his extended family.
