Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor Challenges Police Search Warrants in UK Court

Andrew Mountbatten-Windsor has challenged police search warrants in court. He is Britain's former prince.

He filed the challenge in the High Court in London. The warrants are linked to his arrest in February.

Police searched his Sandringham home and Royal Lodge. Royal Lodge is his former home in Windsor.

The United States Department of Justice released Epstein-related documents shortly before. Police then detained and questioned him in February.

He was arrested on suspicion of misconduct in public office. Allegations say he sent confidential government documents to Jeffrey Epstein.

Mountbatten-Windsor has denied wrongdoing. A hearing is set for Thursday.

It will cover a police request to limit access to documents. It will not decide the challenge to the warrants.

Klear Note — A warrant gives police legal permission to search a place for evidence. An arrest on suspicion is not a finding of guilt.
