Anthropic Raises $65 Billion to Beat OpenAI
AI company Anthropic has raised $65 billion in new funding. This makes Anthropic the most valuable AI startup in the world.
Its value is now between $900 billion and $965 billion. That puts it ahead of OpenAI.
OpenAI's last known value was $730 billion. The funding round was led by investment firms Altimeter Capital, Dragoneer, Greenoaks and Sequoia Capital. Amazon also put in $5 billion as part of the deal.
