Apple Names New CEO to Replace Cook
Apple said Monday that John Ternus will become its new chief executive. Ternus currently leads hardware engineering at Apple.
He will replace Tim Cook as chief executive on September 1. Cook has led Apple for nearly 15 years.
Cook will stay on as executive chairman after the change. Apple's board fully approved the move.
