Army Chief of Staff Randy George Retires
Randy George is retiring as the United States Army's top general. He served as the Army's 41st chief of staff.
Defense Secretary Pete Hegseth asked for his immediate retirement. The Pentagon confirmed George's retirement on Thursday. Pentagon spokesperson Sean Parnell announced his departure.
