Australian Families Forced Back to Syrian Camp
Thirty-four Australian women and children were released from Roj camp in Syria on Monday. Kurdish authorities in Syria freed them.
But poor coordination with Damascus stopped their return to Australia. Kurdish authorities forced them back to the camp.
The families are relatives of dead or jailed extremists. They had been held for years without charge.
