A B-52 bomber crashed at Edwards Air Force Base in California on Monday. It went down shortly after takeoff at 11:20 a.m.
Eight people are believed dead. The plane was on a routine test mission.
Leaders said the crash was not survivable. Emergency responders went to the scene. An investigation into the cause is now underway.
