BAFTA, BBC Apologize After Guest's Outburst
A guest with Tourette syndrome shouted a racial slur at the BAFTA Film Awards on Sunday. Tourette syndrome causes involuntary outbursts.
Michael B. Jordan and Delroy Lindo were onstage during the incident. The BBC did not edit out the outbursts in its delayed broadcast. BAFTA and the BBC both issued apologies following the incident.
