Blair Tells Starmer to Drop Net Zero and Back Trump

Former UK Prime Minister Tony Blair has criticized Keir Starmer's government. Blair said the government is in the "wrong position" before the next election.

He wrote a 5,700-word essay about Labour's failings. Blair led the Labour party for 13 years and won three elections.

In the essay he named Starmer and two other senior Labour figures. He told them to drop net zero policies.

He also said Labour should move closer to Trump's positions. Blair warned the party risks losing the next election by moving away from the political centre.

He also called for fewer barriers to artificial intelligence business growth. Blair said Labour has an "almost infinite capacity for self-delusion."
