Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni Settle Lawsuit
Actors Blake Lively and Justin Baldoni have settled their lawsuit. It was about the making of their film It Ends With Us.
Lawyers for both sides announced the deal on Monday. The settlement stopped a trial that was set for May 18.
Both actors were expected to testify at that trial. Lively had accused Baldoni of running a smear campaign against her.
She said this happened after she reported harassment on set. Baldoni denied this.
He claimed Lively made up the accusations to take creative control of the film. A judge had already thrown out 10 of Lively's 13 legal claims last month.
The remaining claims were against Baldoni's production company and a public relations firm. Baldoni had also sued Lively and her husband Ryan Reynolds for $400 million.
That case was thrown out earlier. The terms of the settlement were not revealed.
