Bloom Energy Beats Earnings on Data Center Demand

Bloom Energy makes machines called fuel cells that produce power. The company posted earnings more than double what experts expected.

Bloom Energy raised its full-year guidance for the second time in a row. The company's sales topped $1 billion in the quarter.

Revenue reached $1.065 billion. That is up 166% from last year.

Strong demand from data centers drove the results. These centers need power for artificial intelligence tasks.

The company now expects 2026 revenue between $3.9 billion and $4.2 billion. CEO KR Sridhar said major US tech giants have approved Bloom's power systems for AI use.

He added that over a dozen AI companies and data hosting firms have done the same. The strong earnings show growing trust in fuel-cell technology for AI power needs.

Bloom Energy's stock price jumped after the news. Shares rose roughly 8-13% in after-hours trading.

Klear Note Fuel cells generate electricity through chemical reactions without burning fuel. Data centers powering AI need huge amounts of reliable power. Bloom Energy's fuel cells offer an alternative to traditional power grids.
