Jesse Jackson died at age 84 on Tuesday. Jackson was a civil rights leader and Baptist minister.
He was born in 1941 in South Carolina, United States. Jackson was a close aide to Martin Luther King Junior.
He ran for president twice during the 1980s. Jackson fought against racism for more than 60 years.
Leaders including President Joe Biden and Kamala Harris paid tribute. Biden said Jackson was a man of God.
