Colombian Military Plane Crashes in Amazon
A military plane crashed in Colombia during takeoff. It happened in Puerto Leguízamo, in the southern Amazon region near Peru.
The plane was a large military cargo plane carrying troops. About 80 to 110 soldiers were on board.
Many soldiers are feared dead. Colombia's defence minister Pedro Sánchez called it a tragic accident. The cause of the crash is not yet known.
