EU Leaders Push for Nuclear Experts in Iran Talks
EU leaders met in Cyprus on Friday for a summit. EU foreign chief Kaja Kallas said Iran talks must include nuclear experts.
Without them she warned the world will face a more dangerous Iran. Kallas said she was not criticizing current United States-Iran talks.
She was calling for nuclear experts in future talks. French President Emmanuel Macron said restoring stability quickly is in everyone's interest.
He said it would also help reassure global economies. European leaders pledged to work harder to resolve Middle East conflicts.
Meanwhile Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araqchi is reportedly heading to Pakistan. Reports say his trip will also include visits to Muscat and Moscow. The United States has criticized Europe for not doing enough to counter Iran.
Klear Note — Iran's nuclear program is a major global concern. Nuclear experts help verify if countries follow international atomic agreements.
