Farage Faces Count Binface in Thursday Clacton Election

A special election is happening Thursday in Clacton. Clacton is a seaside town in England just east of London.
Farage is running against Count Binface. Count Binface is a comedian who dresses as a trash can.
Nearly three dozen candidates are competing in this election. Major political parties did not enter their own candidates.
This left Count Binface as the strongest challenger to Farage. Farage caused this election by quitting his seat last month.
He had won Clacton with 46.2% of the vote in July 2024. Voters will cast their ballots on Thursday.
