FBI: Michigan Synagogue Attack Was Hezbollah-Inspired

A man attacked a synagogue in West Bloomfield, Michigan on March 12. Ayman Ghazali, 41, drove his truck through the synagogue doors.

He struck a security guard, then shot at another guard. Ghazali was a United States citizen born in Lebanon.

He watched pro-Hezbollah videos online before the attack. The FBI said Ghazali wanted to kill as many Jewish people as possible.

Jennifer Runyan, head of the FBI's Detroit office, announced the findings. The FBI ruled it a Hezbollah-inspired act of terrorism.
