Two firefighting helicopters crashed into each other near Athens, Greece. It happened on Sunday while they fought a wildfire.

One helicopter hit the other's propellers. The second helicopter then caught fire.

Each helicopter carried a two-person crew. The crew of one helicopter is safe.

A search-and-rescue operation is underway for the second helicopter. The collision happened near Porto Germeno and Psatha.

It spread toward Porto Germeno. Nearly 500 firefighters and 23 aircraft joined the fight.
