Five Countries Accuse Russia of Poisoning Navalny
Five European countries accused Russia of poisoning Alexei Navalny. The countries are the United Kingdom, France, Germany, Sweden, and the Netherlands.
Navalny died in an Arctic penal colony in Russia in February 2024. Intelligence agencies found a rare toxin in his body.
The toxin came from Ecuador dart frogs. Agencies determined the toxin highly likely caused his death. The United Kingdom Foreign Office said the poisoning was deliberate.
