Five Die in Ohio River Rescue Attempt
Five people died in a river in Delaware County, Ohio. Several had gone into the water to help a person struggling to swim.
Rescue crews found two women who were later pronounced dead at a hospital. They also found the bodies of three men.
A driver spotted a frightened child running on a nearby road. The child had been with the group.
The driver called 911. That call led to the discovery of the deaths. Delaware County Sheriff Jeffrey Balzer announced the deaths at a news conference on Monday.
