Former Snooker Champion Graeme Dott Found Guilty of Sexual Abuse
Graeme Dott is a former world snooker champion. He was found guilty of sexually abusing two children.
A court in Glasgow, Scotland found him guilty on Monday. The trial lasted five days.
Dott was convicted of lewd and libidinous behaviour. This was toward a girl and a boy.
Both children were primary school students in Scotland. The girl was abused between 1993 and 1996.
The boy was abused between 2006 and 2010. The trial heard that Dott exposed himself to both children.
Police Scotland said the case involved sexual and violent crimes. The crimes happened in Glasgow and Larkhall, Scotland.
Dott will be sentenced in Edinburgh, Scotland. That will happen on September 29 2026.
The World Professional Billiards and Snooker Association suspended Dott in April 2025. That happened after he was charged.
