Fox Agrees to Buy Roku for 22 Billion Dollars
Fox has agreed to buy streaming company Roku for $22 billion. Each Roku share will be worth $160.
That includes $96 in cash plus Fox shares. Together the two companies will become the third-largest TV group in the US.
They will reach over 100 million streaming homes worldwide. Fox brings sports, news and Tubi content to the deal.
Roku brings its connected TV platform. The deal is expected to close in the first half of 2027. After the news Roku's stock rose to its highest point in four years.
