France Blocks US Envoy Kushner Over Diplomat Row
France blocked US envoy Charles Kushner from meeting government leaders. Kushner failed to show up to a meeting with French Foreign Minister Jean-Noël Barrot.
The meeting was scheduled for 7pm on Sunday. It was meant to discuss US comments about activist Quentin Deranque's death.
The US embassy in Paris reposted Trump administration comments about Deranque on Sunday. Those comments prompted the French Foreign Minister to summon Kushner.
