Gang Leader Arrested Over 2023 Killing
A gang leader known as Lobo Menor was arrested recently. He is believed to be linked to the 2023 killing of Fernando Villavicencio.
Villavicencio was an Ecuadorian presidential candidate. Lobo Menor's real name is Angel Esteban Aguilar. He led the criminal group Los Lobos.
Mexican authorities arrested Aguilar in Mexico City, Mexico. He is suspected of planning Villavicencio's killing. After his arrest, Aguilar was sent to Colombia.
