Hamilton Wins First Ferrari Victory in All-British Podium
Lewis Hamilton won the Formula 1 Spanish Grand Prix in Barcelona on Sunday. It was his first win for Ferrari since joining the team in 2025.
His 2025 season had been hard with no wins at all. This was his 106th Grand Prix win overall.
His last win was at the 2024 Belgian Grand Prix for Mercedes. Ferrari's win also ended six straight Mercedes victories in the 2026 season.
George Russell finished second and Lando Norris finished third. Norris is the defending world champion.
It was the first all-British top-three finish in Formula 1 since 1968. Championship leader Kimi Antonelli retired on lap 62 of 66. His retirement moved Norris up to third place.
Klear Note — Formula 1 is auto racing's top sport with races worldwide. Hamilton switched from Mercedes to Ferrari in 2025. An all-British podium hasn't happened in F1 since 1968.
