House votes to subpoena Attorney General Bondi
The House Oversight Committee voted 24 to 19 to subpoena Attorney General Pam Bondi. Republican lawmaker Nancy Mace introduced the motion.
Republicans and some Democrats voted yes. The subpoena concerns how Bondi handled Epstein files and their release.
Mace accused the Justice Department of covering up Epstein files. Mace said the department has not released all Epstein files.
Klear Note — A subpoena is a legal order forcing someone to provide documents or testify. The Epstein case involved a wealthy financier convicted of crimes. Public pressure has grown for full release of related government files.
