Houthi Attacks Injure Dozens in Saudi Arabia
Yemen's Iran-backed Houthi rebels attacked Saudi cities on Tuesday. Saudi authorities said 73 people were injured.
Reports say women and children were among the injured. The attacks caused fires at oil facilities.
Saudi Arabia vowed to respond after the attacks. The strikes hit Abha, Khamis Mushait, Jazan and Najran.
An airbase and Aramco oil sites were also hit. Some energy operations were temporarily stopped.
Oil prices rose sharply after the attacks. Brent crude oil reached $98 per barrel on Tuesday.
Oil prices neared $100 per barrel amid rising tensions. The attacks followed weekend strikes between the US and Iran.
Those strikes added to fears about Middle East instability. Before the attacks Houthis blamed Saudi Arabia for a prison strike.
The strike was in Yemen's Jawf province. Reports said seven people were killed and seven injured.
