Houthi Attacks on Saudi Arabia Increase

Iran-backed Houthi forces in Yemen have stepped up attacks on Saudi Arabia. The BBC said two people were killed at Dammam airport.

The Guardian reported at least three deaths at an airport and oilfield. Saudi Arabia said debris from an intercepted drone killed two people.

The debris also injured two people at an oilfield run by Aramco. The United States ordered some diplomats and non-emergency staff to leave.

The Houthis claimed Saudi Arabia sent military equipment to Yemeni forces. They gave no evidence.

Klear Note — Yemen borders Saudi Arabia, making the attacks a cross-border security threat. Non-emergency personnel are staff not needed for urgent duties.
