Idaho In-N-Out Shooting Kills Three People
A shooting happened at an In-N-Out Burger in Twin Falls, Idaho on Saturday. Three people died.
Seven others were hurt. Two remained in critical condition as of Sunday.
The suspect died from a self-inflicted gunshot wound. Police identified him as Chad Williams, 24 years old.
Twin Falls police chief Matthew Hicks said investigators are confident Williams carried out the attack. Police say Williams acted alone.
An off-duty state trooper and an armed bystander took quick action. Their actions helped prevent more injuries.
A witness said the armed bystander distracted the shooter as he tried to flee. One of the three killed was a female In-N-Out worker.
In-N-Out president Lynsi Snyder issued a statement mourning the loss. The FBI is helping Twin Falls police with the investigation. The restaurant had only recently opened on July 24 2026.
