Investor Warns US Stock Market Is Most Expensive Ever

Investor Jeremy Grantham says the US stock market is the most expensive in American history. He pointed to a measure called the Buffett indicator.

It shows the market is worth more than double the entire US economy. AI-related stocks have driven much of this rise in prices.

High valuations also affect AI-linked markets around the world. This includes chipmakers that supply AI technology.

Grantham warned the market could fall by 70%. He compared today's market to the dot-com bubble of 2000. He also flagged SpaceX's roughly $2 trillion valuation as a sign of excess.

Klear Note The Buffett indicator compares total stock market value to US GDP. When it's high, stocks are expensive relative to the economy's actual output.
