Judge Orders Trump's Name Off Kennedy Center
A US judge ruled that Trump's name must be removed from the Kennedy Center in Washington DC. The judge also blocked a planned two-year closure for renovations.
The Kennedy Center is a famous arts venue named after President John F. Kennedy. Judge Christopher Cooper wrote in a 94-page ruling that this was "crystal clear." All signs and online references to Trump must be removed within 14 days.
The ruling came after Representative Joyce Beatty sued over the renaming. Beatty argued the Kennedy Center belongs to the American people.
Trump criticized the ruling and said the judge "should be ashamed of himself." Trump also said his administration would move to put Congress in control of the Kennedy Center. The Kennedy Center plans to appeal the ruling.
