King Charles Confirms Harry and Meghan Will Not Resume Royal Duties
King Charles approved a letter on Monday. It confirms Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will not resume royal duties.
This applies after their return to the United Kingdom. Buckingham Palace confirmed the decision.
The couple will not perform official royal engagements. They will remain private citizens.
Their HRH titles stay unused for now. Palace sources say the letter went to several groups.
It was sent to Harry's team. It also went to the government, military and Lord Lieutenants.
Harry and Meghan stepped down as senior royals in January 2020. This decision continues that same arrangement.
