King Harald Of Norway Hospitalized With Infection
Royal officials said King Harald's health got worse over the weekend. He is now in stable condition in hospital.
Doctors are giving him antibiotics for a bacterial blood infection. Crown Prince Haakon visited him in hospital.
Reports say the king has responded well to treatment. Harald was hospitalized in Malaysia in 2024 after an infection. He later got a pacemaker in Norway.
Klear Note — A bloodstream infection means bacteria are present in the blood. Antibiotics are medicines used to treat infections caused by bacteria.
