Lloyds Bank exposed the data of 447,936 customers in an IT glitch. A software defect during an IT update caused the glitch.

Payments and account details were visible to other users. Some customers saw other people's national insurance numbers.

Lloyds said sorry and paid some compensation. The Treasury Select Committee received a letter from Lloyds on Friday.
