Lula Meets Trump in Washington for Trade Talks
Brazilian President Lula flew to Washington on Wednesday. He met with US President Trump on Thursday.
They talked about trade, security and critical minerals. They also discussed organized crime and tariffs.
The US wants to label two Brazilian gangs as terrorist groups. Brazil strongly disagrees with this.
Lula is 80 years old and politically weakened at home. He is tied in polls with a rival ahead of October elections in Brazil.
The two leaders have had a difficult relationship in the past. But they previously met in Malaysia and Trump praised their good chemistry.
