Major Earthquake Hits Philippines Killing 32
A large earthquake hit off the island of Mindanao in the Philippines. It measured 7.8 in magnitude.
At least 32 people died and more than 100 were hurt. A landslide caused by the quake killed 13 people in the town of Glan.
Tens of thousands of people had to leave their homes. Buildings collapsed across the area.
The quake triggered small tsunami waves. The waves reached the Philippines, Indonesia and Japan. Rescue teams are working to help those affected.
