Man Nearly Pulled Out of Ryanair Plane Window
A man was nearly sucked out of a plane window during a Ryanair flight. The flight was going from Greece to Germany.
His wife held his legs for about five minutes. This stopped him from being pulled fully out.
The man is 61 years old. He was treated for friction burns from the incident.
A loud bang happened before the window broke. The damage may have been caused by debris.
The debris reportedly came loose from one of the plane's engines. It reportedly hit the plane over North Macedonia.
The plane had climbed to about 20000 feet. Then it lost cabin pressure reports say.
The plane landed safely at Thessaloniki Airport in Greece. A different plane later flew passengers on to Memmingen in Germany.
The flight was run by Malta Air a Ryanair subsidiary airline. Greece's air safety authority has started an investigation into the incident.
