Man Rams Synagogue, Dies in Shootout
A suspect rammed a vehicle into Temple Israel synagogue in Michigan on Thursday. He shot himself during a shootout with security officers.
The suspect was 41-year-old Ayman Mohamad Ghazali. He was a United States citizen born in Lebanon.
His vehicle had large amounts of fireworks and petrol. Video showed him buying over $2,000 of fireworks two days before.
He had lost family members in an airstrike in Lebanon before the attack. The attack shook Jewish communities across America.
