Mango Founder's Son Arrested Over Father's Death
Jonathan Andic has been arrested on suspicion of murder. He is the son of Isak Andic who founded the Mango fashion brand.
His father died in December 2024 while hiking in the Montserrat mountains near Barcelona, Spain. Isak Andic was 71.
He fell about 100 metres down a ravine. Jonathan was with his father at the time.
Police first treated the death as an accident in January 2025. But the case was reopened after doubts arose.
Investigators found problems with Jonathan's statements. Forensic experts also questioned whether someone could fall unaided on that path.
Jonathan has been transferred to a judge in Martorell, Spain. He has denied any wrongdoing. His family says he has fully cooperated with authorities.
