Melania Calls for Kimmel Firing After Dinner Shooting
Melania Trump criticized TV host Jimmy Kimmel on Monday. She accused him of using hateful and violent words.
Melania urged TV network ABC to fire or punish Kimmel. She called him a coward who hides behind ABC.
Days before the shooting Kimmel aired a parody show. In it he called Melania an expectant widow.
A shooting then happened at the White House Correspondents' Dinner. A man rushed a security checkpoint at the Washington Hilton hotel in Washington DC.
He was armed with several weapons. One officer was hit but a protective vest kept them safe.
Melania made her criticism after the shooting. ABC had previously pulled Kimmel off air in September 2025.
That was over remarks he made about Charlie Kirk's death. Kimmel has often criticized President Trump and his policies.
