Messi Visits White House for Cup Win
Lionel Messi and Inter Miami teammates visited the White House. President Trump honored them for winning the Major League Soccer Cup.
Trump told Messi: "you came in and you won." This was Messi's first White House visit. Last year, Messi missed a medal from former President Joe Biden. A scheduling conflict stopped that visit from happening.
Klear Note — The MLS Cup is soccer's biggest championship in the United States. Inter Miami won it in 2025. Presidents traditionally honor championship sports teams at the White House.
