NASA Sets April 1 Moon Mission Launch
NASA has set April 1 for the Artemis II launch. Four astronauts will fly on this mission.
It will be the first crewed moon mission in over 50 years. The last crewed moon mission was Apollo 17 in 1972.
Artemis II will orbit the moon, not land. A 6-day launch window opens from Kennedy Space Center in Florida, United States.
NASA postponed Artemis II twice, in February and March. NASA says rocket problems that caused those delays are now fixed.
Klear Note — Artemis II is NASA's plan to return humans to the moon. The last crewed moon mission was Apollo 17 in 1972, over 50 years ago.
