NATO Allies Reject Trump's Oil Route Demand

Trump requested 7 countries send ships to the Strait of Hormuz. This waterway carries most of the world's oil.

Major NATO allies are reluctant to send ships. They note avoiding escalation and NATO's limited role.

Trump warned NATO could face a "very bad" future if allies don't help. Trump also claimed the United States destroyed over 30 mine-laying ships there.

He said the United States struck over 7,000 military and commercial targets across Iran.

Klear Note The Strait of Hormuz is a narrow waterway between Iran and Oman. About one-third of world's oil passes through it daily. Countries depend on this route for energy and trade.
