Netanyahu Condemns Reported Israeli Settler Attack on NBC News Crew

Masked Israeli settlers reportedly attacked an NBC News crew on Saturday. This happened in Jalud near Nablus in the West Bank.

A Palestinian woman was also attacked while being interviewed by the crew. She said settlers had driven her family from their home.

NBC News correspondent Matt Bradley was reportedly hit twice in the arm. Other crew members were injured too.

Equipment or a vehicle was also damaged. The injuries were described as non-life-threatening.

Israeli settlers also attacked Palestinian homes in Qusra. Qusra is a village in the West Bank.

The siege there began earlier this month. Reports say this was the settlers' first major attack since then.

The siege included pepper-spraying and throwing rocks at Palestinian property. Prime Minister Benjamin Netanyahu condemned the violence.

He blamed it on a handful of rioters. His comments were described as rare public criticism of settlers.

Klear Note — The West Bank is Palestinian territory under Israeli occupation, with Israeli settlements.
