OpenAI Wins Pentagon AI Contract

OpenAI struck a deal with the Pentagon. The company will supply AI to classified US military networks.

Sam Altman, OpenAI's chief executive, announced the deal on Friday night. Altman claims the military will not use the AI for autonomous killing systems.

It also will not use it for mass surveillance. This deal came after Trump ordered the military to stop using Anthropic's AI.
