Paramount and Warner Bros. Discovery will soon merge into one company.

Its name will be Skydance. David Ellison announced the name on Friday.

Ellison is the chief executive of Paramount Skydance. The name will take effect when the merger closes.

The merger is set to be finalized next week. The studio will then own Harry Potter and Game of Thrones. It will also own DC, Star Trek and Mission: Impossible.
