Patient Tests Negative for Ebola at Glasgow Hospital
A patient was admitted to Queen Elizabeth University Hospital in Glasgow on Tuesday. Doctors tested the patient for Ebola virus.
The test came back negative. Public Health Scotland confirmed the result.
During testing a hospital ward was partly closed. Public Health Scotland said the risk to the public remains low.
The World Health Organization has declared an Ebola outbreak a global health emergency. That outbreak is ongoing in the Democratic Republic of Congo and Uganda.
